A leading company is seeking a Field Technician in Augusta, ME for their Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Department. The role involves providing technical support to clients and conducting project inspections while working closely with contractors and customers in the field. This telecommuting position requires self-motivation and organizational skills, with a focus on promoting energy-saving solutions.
GDS Associates, Inc. has an opportunity for a Field Technician in the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Department based out of the Augusta, ME office. This person will be responsible for supporting the Efficiency Maine Commercial & Industrial Prescriptive Initiatives. The individual will provide advice and recommendations on projects to customers and contractors, complete eligibility review of incentive applications and complete on-site inspections. They may have to present presentations and program training to customers and/or contractors as needed. The candidate will be based out of their home office but may spend multiple days a week in the field working with commercial/industrial customers and Qualified Partners (contractors). As a liaison for the energy-efficiency program, the individual will need to be self-motivated, well organized and highly skilled with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This is a telecommuting position; however, the selected candidate will need to live in the state of Maine.
