Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems and sales techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory; ensure safety and compliance; report issues; and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service, inspiring others, respecting diversity, and fostering a supportive team environment. Follow company policies and complete work efficiently.

At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, education programs, and more. The hourly wage range is $20.00 to $27.00, with additional premiums possible based on circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Must complete all required training and assessments successfully if hired.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in auto service industry or retail experience.
