Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and boost engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by valuing member experience; model high-quality service; inspire and develop team members.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; utilize the Open Door Policy; execute business practices accordingly.
• Complete work assignments efficiently; collaborate with managers and colleagues; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00. Actual pay will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, location, or work performed.

Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 or older. Willing to complete all required training and assessments within designated timelines.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
