POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Senior Service Technician reports to the Senior Manager, Service
• Located in Jefferson County, Texas
• Full-Time
• Remote

The Senior Service Technician provides advanced service, repair, and installation of foodservice equipment at customer locations. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and mentorship skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle advanced service, repair, and installation independently.
• Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and repairs on complex kitchen equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate on skill development.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage inventory and tools on the service vehicle.
• Provide detailed service reports and collaborate with management on work orders.
• Deliver professional customer service and build relationships.
• Assist in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and escalate issues as needed.
• Read manuals and maintain accurate records of parts and materials.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment service and repair, or equivalent military or practical experience.
• EPA Universal Certification or EPA Type II required.
• Technical/trade school completion preferred, with at least 2 years in refrigeration.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to pass background check.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, twist, kneel, and crawl as needed.
• Use hands to handle tools and objects.
• Stand for long periods.
