Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Utilize POS systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies needs, track returns, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain inventory and safety standards. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand, model high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Understand and help overcome roadblocks, and support training.
- Comply: Follow policies, procedures, and ethical standards, using the Open Door Policy and implementing related actions.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, foster belonging, build trusting relationships, and motivate others. Recognize contributions and help develop team members.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
