Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Familiarity with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques is also required.
• Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions related to safety, products, and training. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies needs, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory and safety standards, report safety hazards and product issues, complete documentation, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by providing high-quality service, inspiring team members, and supporting a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
