Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, and resources; mentor new technicians; and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, Point of Sale systems, and selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and increase engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, and training; adapt to new tools and encourage others.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment and supplies; manage inventory, safety, and compliance; process transactions; assist members; and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and model respectful, supportive teamwork. Understand and help overcome roadblocks.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
