Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use POS systems and selling techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions related to safety, new products, and training.
- Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Comply with company policies and support continuous improvement.

At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, education benefits, and more. The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must be 18 years or older
- Successfully complete all required training and assessments
