Position Summary... As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, and in phone and in-person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, products, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory; ensure safety and compliance; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchases and resolve concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Understand and help overcome roadblocks, and participate in training.
- Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Use the Open Door Policy, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid state-issued driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Must successfully complete all required training and assessments within the designated timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in auto service industry or retail preferred.
