Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety, and training.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
