Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love for less. You will collaborate with team members to meet the club’s expectations.

What you'll do:

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, and resources; mentor new technicians; and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, Point of Sale systems, and selling techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and boost engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions, safety alerts, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage returns and orders; operate cash registers; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards; report hazards and issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchases and resolve concerns.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service; inspire and develop team members; understand and help overcome roadblocks.
6. Comply with company policies, ethics, and standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
7. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvements; and adapt to change and feedback.
