Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and sales techniques including POS systems.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools for sales planning, service improvement, and engagement; utilize handheld technology for decision-making and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage inventory, safety, and compliance; process transactions; assist members with purchasing; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage; report issues and complete documentation.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and model respectful, team-oriented behavior; understand and help overcome roadblocks.
• Follow company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy; execute business processes accordingly.
• Complete assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek continuous improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license. Ability to complete required training and assessments. Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
