Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member's expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonal considerations; proficient with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and boost engagement; utilize handheld tech for business decisions related to services, safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience; model high-quality service; inspire and train team members.
• Comply with company policies, standards, and ethics; execute business practices accordingly.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking improvements.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay at or above minimum wage, plus potential premiums based on circumstances.
