Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to meet the club’s expectations.

What you'll do

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively for safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; utilize POS systems, phones, and in-person sales techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and increase engagement; operate handheld technology for business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing and resolve concerns.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service; develop and motivate team members; support a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment.
6. Follow Policies: Adhere to company policies, ethics, and standards; use open door policy; implement related action plans.
7. Complete Tasks: Prioritize work using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers and colleagues; communicate progress; identify improvements; learn from feedback.
