As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and elevate engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, and training.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and compliance standards are met. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and inspiring others. Understand and help overcome roadblocks, and assist in training team members.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create a supportive workplace, build trusting relationships, and foster a culture of belonging. Work as a team, communicate positively, and recognize contributions.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances.

- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Must complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time if hired.
- Must be 18 years or older.

- Experience in auto service industry or retail.
