A leading company seeks a Store Manager to direct operations in Richland, MS. This role requires strong leadership in managing a large team and overseeing facility performance. Position Summary...
Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and management and hourly associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility that may present issues such as high turnover, significant engagement issues, inexperienced associates, and recruiting challenges in a highly competitive market. This requires ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, duty assignment, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across multiple organizational levels.
Upholds the company's Open Door Policy in a dynamic, multifaceted environment by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, leveraging resources for complex, time-sensitive requests, reviewing policies, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution across managerial levels. Provides resolution for associates, proactively seeks out comments and concerns by engaging with associates in their work areas.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by anticipating and responding to compliance issues, navigating challenging environments with high control requirements, developing relationships with government officials, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Oversees safety and operational reviews, develops action plans to address deficiencies, and supports the execution of company programs and strategic initiatives.
Participates in community outreach programs, representing the company in high-profile, high-visibility environments, engaging with the community and media, and supporting sustainability efforts to enhance the facility's community presence.
Drives financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are met, maintaining a strategic and analytical perspective, executing process improvements, controlling expenses, and collaborating with market teams. Oversees budgeting, analyzes economic trends, and develops plans to improve financial outcomes.
Ensures success in training environments and store standards, creating an engaging atmosphere for trainees, supporting leadership development, and maintaining high customer service standards. Provides leadership and direction by analyzing business objectives, developing strategies, and implementing plans that align with customer needs and operational goals.
Develops and implements strategies to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and engaged workforce, fostering an environment of respect, integrity, and ethics. Builds partnerships with community stakeholders, supports associate development initiatives, and promotes a culture of belonging and respect.
Acts with integrity, upholding high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting Walmart’s culture and values, and making positive impacts in the community through various initiatives.

The annual salary range is $110,000.00 - $170,000.00 plus additional compensation based on performance and external factors.
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of management experience including financial accountability, or 4 years of management experience supervising at least 50 associates, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination. Specific background checks and training completions are required for certain facilities.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, experience as a Store Manager in various store complexities, or specific experience in grocery operations.
