A leading company is seeking a Store Manager to oversee operations, manage staff, and drive financial performance in Richland, Mississippi. This role involves developing and communicating a strategic vision aligned with company, market, and local plans to guide the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. The position requires supervising and developing management and hourly staff, addressing issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, and recruiting in a competitive market. Responsibilities include upholding company policies, ensuring compliance, managing community outreach, driving financial performance, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive workplace culture. The role also involves managing sales, inventory, store standards, and training environments, along with developing strategies for workforce engagement and community relations. Compensation includes a salary range of $110,000 to $170,000 plus bonuses and other benefits, with additional pay based on location and external factors. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with management experience or equivalent, with specific requirements for firearm and ammunition sales facilities. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, and experience managing various store complexities and product categories.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability, plus supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination experience; or 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific training and assessments. For firearm-related facilities, a successful background check and firearm training are required.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, experience as a Store Manager in low, medium, or high-complexity stores, and experience managing a grocery area.
