Position Summary

Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast-paced and welcoming work environment!

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee repair within Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills.
• Utilize hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and operational training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart's safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance or 8 years’ experience with an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums. Benefits include performance bonuses, 401(k), stock purchase plans, health insurance, Walmart discounts, work vehicle and tools, education benefits through Live Better U, paid time off, disability coverage, and more.
