Position Summary

Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, bring your skills to our fast-paced and welcoming work environment!

As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools.
• Use work order management system to support store repairs and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and operational training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Additional Information

The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. Minimum qualifications include extensive HVAC experience and EPA certification.
