Job description

Position Summary

Join Walmart/VIZIO and advance your career! The Senior Quality Engineer will perform failure analysis on field returns, qualification failures, and new product development for TV and audio products. The role requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, exercising sound judgment in problem-solving and evaluation of results.

What you'll do

Provide solutions for coding errors by collaborating with software developers, developing and executing testing plans, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, and recommending fixes. Develop software quality assurance (SQA) project plans, participate in large-scale projects, design and prepare tests, support code development, and ensure quality in eCommerce projects. Conduct quality assurance testing, automate testing processes, monitor project progress, troubleshoot defects, analyze requirements, and support business solutions. Execute and document testing procedures, identify root causes of defects, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Build relationships with stakeholders, mentor team members, and promote a culture of respect, integrity, and service. Ensure adherence to Walmart’s values, support continuous improvement, and foster an inclusive environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field plus 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering quality assurance or testing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industry sectors like retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare; Master's degree in related fields; certifications like CSTE or CSQA; knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA), assistive technologies, and creating inclusive digital experiences.
