Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Flexibility to business needs, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, maintains a clean and organized work area, and assists members with purchasing decisions while ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club, models high-quality service, interacts with associates to understand challenges, and assists in training.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, and seeking continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to complete required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications related to meat processing area experience.
