Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality, minimizing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchases, and proper packaging and labeling.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, providing high-quality service, and training associates to perform their duties effectively.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and implement related action plans. Use the Open Door Policy and apply these principles in daily operations.
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and adapting to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00*, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable locally. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, season, or work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a fresh production environment. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to complete required training and assessments within designated timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing or related fields, but none are mandatory.
