What you'll do
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
  4. Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring high-quality standards for meat products. Help eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing the basics at the highest level. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training them.
  6. Compliance and Work Management: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
Core Values and Behaviors
  • Respect the Individual: Embrace differences, create an inclusive workplace, support and develop associates, and foster a culture of belonging.
