Are you ready to bring your Machine Operator skills to a team that values precision and innovation? At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence. We're looking for skilled Machine Operators like you!

What You’ll Do:

  1. Follow production instructions: Follow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions from the supervisor to achieve manufacturing goals.
  2. Install machine fixtures: Align and secure dies, punches, blades, or fixtures for safe machine operation.
  3. Operate machinery: Set up and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines per specifications.
  4. Inspect operations: Monitor machines, perform inspections, and measure finished products using tools like calipers and gauges to ensure quality.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols: Follow safety guidelines, wear PPE, and keep the work area clean and organized. Use cranes or buddy systems for heavy parts.
  6. Perform other duties: Assist in other areas or departments as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Math skills: Ability to read and understand instructions and complete logs in English.
  • Physical capability: Ability to lift, push, pull, and position heavy items.
  • Policy compliance: Ability to work scheduled hours and follow company policies.
  • Stamina: Ability to stand for entire shifts in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Machining knowledge: Basic understanding of machining and proficiency with measuring devices.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Accuracy: Attention to detail to maintain quality.
  • Reliability: Dependability and consistent performance.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to production demands.

Your Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday; 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
