Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet business needs, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie: Utilizes digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a clean work area, and ensures quality standards for high-volume meat products. Secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Trains and mentors team members, recognizes contributions, and fosters a positive environment.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies these principles in business practices.
- Completes work assignments by utilizing policies, data, and resources. Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvements. Adapts to change and learns from feedback.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications...
6 months’ experience in a fresh production department, ability to complete required training and assessments, and must be 18 years or older.
