Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service. Interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training them to perform their duties.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement related action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these principles in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners, identify priorities, communicate progress, and suggest improvements.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
