What you'll do
About the Team:

The Inscape Core Engineering Team is dedicated to building scalable, robust, and high-performing software solutions. Our team collaborates across departments to ensure our technical roadmap aligns with business priorities and customer needs. This role is crucial in driving our technical vision and advancing our product capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive the team’s charter and long-term technical roadmap.
  • Hire, mentor, and support a high-performing engineering team.
  • Manage competing priorities and provide clear guidance.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships and align stakeholders.
  • Partner with Architects on the design of technical solutions.
  • Improve data pipelines, cloud services, and data processing practices.
  • Establish industry-leading design patterns for data engineering.
What you’ll bring
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience in technical teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in architecting and designing data-focused cloud software.
  • Strong understanding of multi-threaded and parallel processing solutions.
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented languages, microservice architecture, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience with large-scale operations and processing high-volume data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with Kafka, AI/ML, Vector databases, Terraform, and AWS services.

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock options.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of software engineering experience. Option 2: 7 years of software engineering experience. 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in relevant field with 3 years of experience, and experience creating accessible digital experiences aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
