Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Manager of Software Engineering specializing in embedded Linux systems to help develop Vizio’s middleware, network, media, and application development for HTML and native applications for Vizio’s TV platform. The Senior Manager will be responsible for directing, communicating, tracking, and mentoring the Engineering team to successfully implement visions, solving complex problems. This role reports to the Senior Director of Software Engineering and has multiple Engineering Managers as direct reports. The position is based in Dallas, TX, with minimal travel (twice a year). We focus on high-impact, high-value development, and the team works collaboratively in our Dallas office.
