Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager of Global Communications – Sourcing & Procurement in Bentonville, AR to narrate Walmart's sourcing journey to the world.

The role builds relationships with sourcing leaders, shaping the narrative and leading press events, while advising on speaking engagements and coordinating with merchandising, operations, supply chain, ethics and compliance to move the enterprise story forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field with 4 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area OR 6 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Position Summary... The Senior Manager of Global Communications – Sourcing & Procurement plays a pivotal role in narrating Walmart's sourcing journey to the world. The ideal candidate is someone who collaborates well, can tell compelling stories that move the needle with key audiences and is ready to dive in headfirst to ensure tasks are completed successfully. This role involves building strong relationships with sourcing & procurement leaders, understanding their unique communication styles, and proactively addressing their communication needs as well as collaborating with various teams such as merchandising, operations, supply chain, logistics, ethics and compliance.

About The Team

This role is part of Walmart International Communications and reports to the Senior Director of Global Communications, Sourcing & Procurement. The position is embedded, along with the majority of the Walmart International Communications Team, with the International Support Team located in Bentonville, AR.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
