Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, to lead the development and execution of complex data models and analytical solutions within the Marketplace Analytics team in San Bruno, CA.

You will partner with senior leadership, coach a high-performing analytics team, and drive data-driven decisions that improve assortment, pricing, and category performance while strengthening cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
• Preferred: Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis; Masters in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics.

Responsible for managing end-to-end projects, coaching and developing a high-performing team, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement innovative prototypes and solutions. The position demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to translate advanced analytics into actionable business outcomes that support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

About the team

The Marketplace Advanced Analytics team leverages data to enhance Walmart's third-party eCommerce business, focusing on assortment, search, pricing, and category performance. This team analyzes product assortment to identify gaps, track high-value and in-demand items, and evaluate performance during key events. Collaborating closely with business, product, and technology teams, the group transforms insights into actionable strategies that improve both customer and seller experiences. The team values strong leadership, advanced analytics, data analysis, project management, and collaboration to drive impactful business outcomes and support continuous growth.

San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
