Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary: The Senior Director, Data Analytics leads the development and execution of advanced data strategies to drive business insights and operational excellence. This role oversees data quality, analytics, and visualization initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable impact. By leveraging expertise in big data and exploratory analysis, the position guides cross-functional teams to identify root causes, optimize data sources, and implement scalable solutions. The Senior Director fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and strategic decision-making to support Walmart’s growth and technology-driven transformation.

About the team:

Walmart Connect leads Walmart’s growth by powering its closed-loop media business within the world’s largest omnichannel retailer. The Data Analytics team drives strategic insights through advanced data strategy, quality management, and big data analytics. This team applies robust analytical methods and visualization techniques to solve complex business challenges, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance performance. Collaborating across functions, the team ensures data integrity and accessibility while delivering impactful solutions. Members leverage expertise in analytics, data quality, and visualization to support Walmart’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence in a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll do:

• Source of Truth: Lead the strategy and execution of WMC’s source of truth, ensuring a consistent and scalable data foundation across WMC.
• Scale AI Capabilities: Engineer AI-driven reporting solutions that deliver automated insights, enabling leaders to proactively manage supply constraints, cost-to-serve, and growth opportunities.
• Lead Enterprise Tooling Strategy: Execute the design, configuration, and maintenance of WMC’s internal tools, managing the platform roadmap using a product-centric approach and agile methodologies, with a primary focus on scaling Salesforce.

What you'll bring:

• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques to communicate complex data insights clearly and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, mentoring associates, and fostering continuous learning and innovation.
• Deep understanding of business context, metrics, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decision-making.
• (Preferred): Prior Experience implementing Salesforce for a Digital Advertising Organization

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

Option 3: 8 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

3 years' supervisory experience.
