We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to enhance our team capabilities on delivering key experiences for our Corporate Communication team. An ideal candidate is well versed and hands -on in Full Stack technologies, collaborating closely with product managers supporting our Corporate Communication business on providing the latest technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible to lead and mentor the tech team through the requirements gathering, design, development, and deployment.



About Team: Corporate Affairs Technology

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance systems following agile development process.
  • Define and drive the technical architecture and long-term engineering strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers across multiple teams.
  • Review code and design documents, ensuring best practices are followed in software design, development, and deployment.
  • Champion engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation across the organization.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies that enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Contribute to and guide the resolution of critical production issues when necessary.



What you'll bring:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, distributed systems at scale.
  • Expertise on Web servers (Apache, Nginx), REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Experience with big data technologies, such as, Hadoop, Hive or Spark.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, particularly CI/CD, to support effective development and deployment processes.
  • Great analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude with a strong technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong problem-solving attitude. Proficiency in technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation.
  • Deep knowledge of system design, microservices architecture, APIs, and data management.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding engineers of all levels.
