Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introducing and leading change efforts; providing clear expectations and guidance; and communicating business objectives.

Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; managing customer service initiatives; resolving customer issues; developing action plans for deficiencies; and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Drives the financial performance and sales of the store area by reviewing P&L statements; managing budgets; monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; and developing strategies to meet sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing staff; setting clear expectations; promoting diversity; and recruiting qualified personnel.

Coordinates activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning.

Ensures compliance with company policies and supports Walmart's mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and supporting an open-door policy.

The annual salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 plus additional compensation such as bonuses and location-based pay.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work and 1 year supervisory experience. Additional requirements include background checks for firearm sales and completion of required trainings.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in related fields; experience supervising multiple direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
