A leading company in retail is seeking a passionate and skilled store manager in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on team leadership, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence. This role involves leading and developing teams, teaching and training associates, touring stores, providing feedback, and collaborating across all levels of store operations. The position requires utilizing technology, supporting business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. It includes introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear guidance, and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards through the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Responsibilities also encompass managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer issues, developing action plans for improvement, and driving sales and profitability of the store area. The role involves supervising and mentoring associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, fostering a culture of belonging, and attracting and retaining talent. Additionally, the position requires building strong relationships, acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence through continuous improvement. The compensation includes a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000 plus performance bonuses and benefits such as health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and educational programs like Live Better U.
Two years of college; OR one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience; OR two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Additional training and assessments are mandatory.
Options include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
