Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Materials Handler in Charlotte, NC to gather, organize, and prepare parts, tools, and materials for production. You will stage components to match schedules and ensure on-time delivery to workstations.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing storage areas, labeling materials, and supporting efficient workflow. You may perform cycle counts, update tracking systems, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Read work orders, BOMs and production schedules.
• Must be highly organized with strong time-management.
• Accurate material handling with attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Able to use scanners, inventory software and material tracking systems.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience if required.

Job Description

Title: Materials Handler

Location: Charlotte, NC, 28273

Duration: 0-12+ months

Shift: 8: 00 AM - 4: 00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00/Hour

Responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing parts, tools, and materials required for production and assembly operations. Ensures all components are accurately staged and delivered to workstations according to production schedules, maintains inventory accuracy, organizes storage areas, and supports efficient workflow by keeping materials readily available and properly labelled. May also perform cycle counts, update material tracking systems, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Skills Required

• Ability to read work orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and production schedules
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling
• Basic inventory control and warehouse experience
• Ability to use scanners, inventory software, and material tracking systems
• Forklift or pallet jack experience (if required)
• Ability to lift and move materials safely
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standards
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving ability to identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies
