Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager, Material Handling Equipment Service to lead vendor and contract management, overseeing procurement, budgeting, and reliability activities to ensure compliant, high-quality equipment performance.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive process improvements, support crisis management, and deliver strategic recommendations to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency across Walmart’s global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a Technical related field (e.g., Controls, Electrical) and 4 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field OR
• 6 years experience in Material Handling Industry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships by evaluating performance, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Oversee contract administration, including review, documentation, and adherence to organizational protocols.
• Support procurement activities by coordinating with approved suppliers and ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
• Develop and manage budgets, analyze variances, and prepare expense reports using preferred tools.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying safety hazards, following regulatory procedures, and implementing standard operating practices.
• Utilize data analysis to inform decisions and improve equipment reliability and service quality.
• Lead change initiatives and crisis response planning to maintain service continuity and operational efficiency.

  The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
