Job summary

Walmart is seeking a highly organized Manager, Automation Engineering to lead on-site implementation and launch of a large-scale automated Walmart warehouse. The role drives site execution, cross-functional coordination, and operational readiness in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate has engineering/PM experience, is detail-oriented, and comfortable with complex systems. Willingness to travel around 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum two years of engineering, supply chain, or related experience (option 1).
• Alternative: four years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area (option 2).

Responsibilities

• Own site implementation and launch for automated warehouse delivery and readiness.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across milestones and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams with Operations, construction, GlobalTech, vendors and contractors.
• Interpret drawings, layouts, specifications and engineering documents.
• Support automation systems within warehouse and building systems.
• Drive execution excellence, identify risks, solve problems, ensure accountability and quality.
• Communicate updates and maintain alignment throughout implementation and launch.

  The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
