Job summary

Walmart is seeking a highly organized Manager, Automation Engineering to lead the on-site implementation and launch of a large-scale automated warehouse. You will own site execution, project management, budgeting, and operational readiness while coordinating with construction, operations, Global Tech, vendors, and contractors.

This role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex building systems and automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
• Alternatively, 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site implementation and launch: lead on-site engineering execution for automated warehouse delivery and operational readiness.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality: track milestones, risks, and execution standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: partner with Operations, construction, GlobalTech, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Interpret technical documentation: review drawings, layouts, specifications, and engineering documents.
• Support automation systems: build expertise in automation, warehouse, and buildings systems.
• Drive execution excellence: identify risks, solve problems, and ensure quality and accountability.

  The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
