Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role supports the Special Process Department and emphasizes safety, detail, and proactive attitude.

The position offers a pathway to potential full-time employment within a dynamic manufacturing setting, with hands-on blasting equipment experience and maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial environment, specifically with blasting metal materials.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills.
• Capability to operate forklift and obtain certification if necessary.
• Commitment to safety procedures and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform grit blasting of components, including removal of TBC and bond coat, prior to inspection, repair, or coating.
• Operate shot peen equipment and adjust parameters as needed on blast machines.
• Transport components within the department using forklifts or other means.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance on blasting equipment and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean work environment and replenish consumable materials such as blasting media.

As a USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator, you will be part of the Special Process Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: USA|General Labor Blaster / Crane Operator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $21-$22per hour

Shift: 5:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?
