Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do:

  1. Lead and develop teams through teaching, training, and active listening; tour stores and provide feedback; communicate and collaborate with associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; lead change efforts; set clear expectations; and communicate business objectives effectively.
  2. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; support customer service initiatives; resolve customer issues; develop action plans for improvement; and lead process improvements to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
  3. Drive store financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense control; monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop strategies to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals.
  4. Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and fostering a culture of belonging; recruit qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support growth.
  5. Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; support plans to meet customer and business needs; set goals; measure progress; identify improvement opportunities; and promote continuous learning.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and support Walmart's mission, values, and ethics standards by implementing related actions, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differential. Actual pay will meet or exceed minimum wage laws applicable to the location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zones, and other incentives.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of background checks and training may be required. Associates must complete all required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related fields; supervisory experience managing 5+ direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
