Walmart is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead teams and drive store performance. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, recognizes associates, and promotes a workplace of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Supports the company mission and values, implements related action plans, and promotes a culture of belonging and respect for individuals.
Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, honesty, fairness, and transparency. Supports Walmart’s goals of positive community impact and sustainability through initiatives like waste elimination and local giving.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation includes bonuses and potential regional pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Associates must complete all mandated training and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
