Walmart is seeking a Store Supervisor for its Monticello location, responsible for leading teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a culture of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, supports the Open Door Policy, and guides team members in applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus differential where applicable, with additional compensation through bonuses and potential regional pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
