This role involves leading and developing teams by providing training, active listening, and feedback, as well as communicating and collaborating across all levels of store associates regarding operations, technology, merchandising, and company initiatives. The successful candidate models exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives including community outreach, and ensures customer issues are resolved efficiently. They drive financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses, while ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow. They also oversee hiring, training, mentoring, and developing associates, ensuring diversity and inclusion, and building relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.

Candidates should have 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific training and assessments, and for certain facilities, background checks or certifications related to firearms or ammunition sales.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with responsibilities in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
