What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tour stores and provide feedback, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensure customer needs and complaints are addressed, develop action plans to correct deficiencies, and lead process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop strategies to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Set clear expectations, recognize contributions, promote a culture of belonging, and recruit qualified staff to meet growth goals.
Coordinate and oversee activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability. Identify improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning and adaptability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and support Walmart’s mission and values, including ethics and integrity. Foster a culture of respect, belonging, and high performance, and act with integrity in all dealings.
Deliver results by focusing on customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and balancing priorities. Encourage innovation, resilience, and continuous improvement through technology and skill development.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, based on location and legislative requirements. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zones.
2 years of college; or 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-related roles, successful background checks and training are required. All associates must complete necessary training and assessments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in related fields. Experience supervising multiple direct reports, performance management, and hiring are preferred.
