Job description

Position Summary: As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets member expectations.

What you'll do:

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate others on tools and resources, communicate effectively, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plan bakery productions, ensure quality and accuracy in decorative designs, follow recipes, work with decorating tools, adhere to food safety standards, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layout and execution.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, utilize handheld technology for decision-making, and encourage adoption of new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Drive bakery performance, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, assist members with purchases, and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, model high-quality service, support and train associates, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment.
6. Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards, using the Open Door Policy and executing business practices responsibly.
7. Complete work assignments effectively by collaborating, prioritizing, communicating, and learning from feedback and change.

The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $24.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding local minimum wages. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, season, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications:

6 months' experience in a fresh production area, and must be 18 or older. Must complete required trainings and assessments if hired.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cake Decorating experience is preferred.
