Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Mix, color, load, frost, and decorate cakes with frosting.
3. Take, complete, and store bakery orders appropriately.
4. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
5. Track and record loss.
6. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid identification.
• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and base score requirements for the role.
• Ability to learn and operate required equipment and tools.
• Perform all job functions safely and meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Wear proper, approved clothing and footwear.
• Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, variable based on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
