Position Summary...
As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicates effectively to provide excellent customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet business needs, keeps stock levels optimal, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Plans bakery production ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follows recipes and measurements, uses decorating tools to create flowers and lettering, and adheres to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to enhance sales, improve shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Operates handheld technology for business decisions related to production, merchandise, and training.
- Be an Owner: Ensures bakery quality, manages inventory, prepares for seasonal events, and assists members with their needs and concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Represents the brand by providing high-quality service, training, and inspiring team members. Promotes a respectful and supportive work environment.
- Compliance and Work Management: Follows company policies, completes assignments on time, communicates progress, and seeks continuous improvement.

At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay, performance bonuses, and benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, education assistance, and more. The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $24.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications...
6 months' experience in a fresh production area. Must be 18 years or older. Willingness to complete required training and assessments.
