Position Summary...

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Is flexible to the needs of the business, maintains stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs. Follows recipes and measurements, works with decorating tools, and ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management. Operates and sanitizes equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
3. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for decision-making related to production, merchandise, and training, and encourages others to adopt new tools.
4. Be an Owner: Ensures the bakery area's performance by maintaining quality and date control, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events. Assists members with purchasing decisions, resolves issues, and identifies member needs.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, values member experience, and models high-quality service. Interacts with associates to understand challenges, trains, develops, and inspires them in a respectful and supportive manner.
