Qualifications

• Experience managing Engineering and Construction companies in project scope, schedule, and construction phases.
• Experience evaluating competing engineering proposals in terms of technology, cost, and schedule.
• General knowledge of mechanical, civil, and electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a safe manner in accordance with site and corporate EHS policies.
• Support the development of capital projects and sanction documents (including cost estimates) and aid in ushering capital projects from concept through closure.
• Develop and manage projects using the New Project Excellence guidelines and local procedures.
• Ensure projects meet objectives and are delivered within budget, on schedule, and of acceptable quality to stakeholders and customers.
• Make an effective hand-off of projects to operations and maintenance considering training, process safety, and equipment reliability.
• Contributes to the development and management of procedures, documents, and tools needed to perform duties as a Project Engineer.
• Assist in the training and coaching of other site personnel in the key components and activities of project management excellence.

Salary

The salary for this position is $151,000.00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
