Job summary

Alexion is seeking a Head of Strategic Initiatives & Operations in Boston to own cross-functional initiatives that span internal and external teams within US Value and Access. Based at Alexion's Boston headquarters, you will craft executive narratives and lead task forces on strategic initiatives, including AI initiatives and operating models.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
10+ years of related experience in biotech or pharma.
Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex proposals.
Strong understanding of US regulations and policies.
Ability to clearly communicate data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.
Knowledge of US market access landscape and expertise in Market Access.

Responsibilities

Create executive narratives and recommendations for senior leadership alignment.
Lead task forces on strategic initiatives and governance activities.
Assess new capabilities to improve US Value and Access efficiency.
Model impact of environmental shifts on Alexion portfolio.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with teams outside US Value and Access.
Oversee governance processes and major Market Access meetings.
Co-lead annual operating plan development (FTE and spend).
Lead market access-wide meetings, training and compliance initiatives.
Manage market access budget activities with Finance.
Identify interdependencies to ensure end-to-end visibility and alignment.
